110 St Vincent Street, Glasgow
Client Brief
We partnered with Mosaic Architecture + Design to create marketing visuals for the refurbishment of 110 St Vincent Street, Glasgow. The primary goal was to generate Computer-Generated Images (CGIs) that accurately reflect the design intent. The project required visuals to show how the building's preserved original features, such as marble columns, would integrate with modern design elements.
Our work focused on visualising key building areas:
Interior Spaces: The Main Entrance Hall, a furnished Office Floorplate (highlighting the central stair), and the detailed utility Basement (covering parking, cycles, and changing facilities).
Exterior Spaces: The Roof Terrace, capturing both internal and external perspectives.
Supporting Media: Professional on-site photography and aerial drone capture for essential context.
Luma Approach
Our process focused on close collaboration with the design team (Mosaic), using the provided architectural data to ensure the CGIs were precise. This iterative approach was vital for accurately resolving and representing the final design.
Our process included:
Viewpoint Planning: We established precise camera positions in conjunction with the architect's feedback to best convey the design intent of each space.
Detail Resolution: We assisted in finalising specific material and design details still under development, including finishes, bespoke fittings and features, and the precise specifications for flooring and furniture.
Site Context: We coordinated the on-site and drone photography to capture necessary real-world views, helping to place the building and the proposed roof terrace within the Glasgow city centre.
Delivery
The final deliverables included:
CGI Assets: The detailed marketing visuals were provided to meet final client marketing needs.
Media Assets: We supplied professional photography and drone footage.
